Aldwick Parish Council Natural Environment Working Group

Following the successful planting of new trees in the parish, our Tree Working Group has broadened its scope to become the Aldwick Parish Council Natural Environment Working Group. One of its Members, Cllr Gillian Edom says: ‘We want to include the enhancement of other aspects of the Aldwick natural environment and to work to improve its biodiversity. The kind of thing the group will be doing is helping residents to encourage native wildlife by connecting existing habitats, increasing the number of wildflower verges, encouraging residents to create wildlife-friendly gardens and of course, planting more trees. ‘
