Temporary closure of Nyetimber Lane, Aldwick CP, 12th January 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic Nyetimber Lane, Aldwick CP, in the Arun District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Nyetimber Lane, outside of of property 6 Nyetimber Lane.

The emergency temporary closure commenced on 12th January 2026 for a maximum of 21 days. It is anticipated that works will be completed on 19th January 2026.

The road closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while SGN undertakes Emergency road closure due to a gas leak. The restriction will be in place 24hrs An alternative route will be signed on site. Access maintained for emergency services, residents and pedestrians within the closed area.
