NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic, Long Furlong, Findon CP, in the Arun District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Long Furlong, adjacent to layby, approx. 400m East of The Old Toll Gate.

The temporary closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2026 for up to 5 days (it is estimated to be completed on 16th June 2026) and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while West Sussex County Council undertakes a Off-peak road closure to allow Volker Highways on behalf of WSCC to undertake carriageway patching works. Road closed between the junction of Long Furlong Lane and the junction of Honeysuckle Lane.

The restriction will be in place off peak only from 09:30 until 15:30.

Access maintained for emergency services, residents and pedestrians.
