Temporary closure of Pagham Road, Pagham CP, 27th November 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic Pagham Road, Pagham CP, in the Arun District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Pagham Road.

The emergency temporary closure commenced on 27th November 2025 for a maximum of 21 days. It is anticipated that works will be completed on 19th December 2025. The road closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while SGN is undertaking urgent replacement works on a gas pressure governor that was damaged following a vehicle collision. To ensure public safety, a road closure is currently in place between the junction at Nyetimber Mill and the junction with Hook Lane.

The restriction will be in place 24hrs from 00:00 until 23:59

An alternative route will be signed on site. Access maintained for emergency services, residents and pedestrians within the closed area. For information regarding this closure please contact SGN 0800 912 1700 who will able to assist with scope of these works.
