Temporary closure of Rose Green Road, Aldwick CP, 10th November 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic Rose Green Road, Aldwick CP, in the Arun District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on Rose Green Road for a distance approx 238 metres
The emergency temporary closure commenced on 10th November 2025 for a maximum of 21 days. It is anticipated that works will be completed on 14th November 2025. The road closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Portsmouth Waterworks Company undertakes essential repairs to address pressure loss and a leak identified in the 7-inch cast iron main. To facilitate a comprehensive inspection and restore system pressure, the affected section of road will be temporarily closed to allow for excavation and assessment.
The restriction will be in place 24hrs from 10:28 until 23:59
An alternative route will be signed on site. Access maintained for emergency services, residents and pedestrians within the closed area.
